Machine Operator

Due to an increase in work we are looking to strengthen our team within the Robotics section of the business. Making components for the Automotive industry we are looking for Machine Operators to cover 3 shifts.

Role Responsibilities

  • Ability to follow and understand standard operating procedures
  • Working to industry standards to meet the required quality standards
  • Recording data with the use of batch cards to monitor production numbers on a daily/weekly basis
  • Loading and unloading components onto the robotic machinery
  • Deburr and check the surfaces of machined components
  • Assemble products on a manual production line
  • Ensure you follow health and safety guidelines and make sure you have a clean working environment at all times
  • Report any machine faults to your line manager to help to reduce machine downtime and maintain maximum productivity.

The Successful Candidate

  • Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Experience working on CNC is desired
  • Able to follow standard operating procedures
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexible approach to work.

We are looking to cover the following 3 shifts (All Monday to Friday)

  • 6am till 2pm
  • 2pm till 10pm
  • 10pm till 6am

We will be looking to start the successful applicants as soon as possible. Ideally interviewing this week with a view to starting on Monday 12th October.

The rate of pay is £8.72 per hour plus shift allowance that will be discussed at interview stage.

* You will require safety boots before you can start. A uniform will be provided along with the necessary PPE.
