BCW Treatments Limited, the Anodising facility within the BCW Manufacturing Group, has recently completed certification assessment to ISO9001:2015 Quality Standard and has been recommended for approval by BSI. The team are now driving the continual improvement and development of their Quality Management System alongside the development of the facility.
Andy Wilson, MD of the Treatments Facility commented, “It is a great achievement accomplished by the team in such a short space of time. The certification isn’t an easy process to go through but the team worked tirelessly to ensure we achieved the desired standard. Since opening the treatments facility back in June 2015 it has been non-stop and this ISO certification supports our position, we are at the forefront of our industry and consistently achieving a high quality standard.”
The state of the art treatment facility offers Type I & II Sulphuric Acid Anodising of parts. The treatment facility currently have the capacity of treating 350,000m2 pa. This is set to increase in late 2018, strengthening BCW Treatments capabilities to 1 million m2pa. This follows the recent expansion announcement from BCW Manufacturing Group stating that construction of the 2 new hi tech facilities, to accommodate the demand within the automotive and aerospace sectors, is underway.
