BCW Re-Certified IATF16949

BCW Manufacturing Group have again successfully achieved the IATF re-certification following a successful audit at its Burnley facility.

The audit took place via BSI whose purpose is to determine the level of compliance of the QMS with the standard and customer-specific quality management system requirements for effective implementation.

In these unprecedented times, following a three month shut down in the wake of a global pandemic, the team resumed operational duties to achieve the standards set by the industry.

Brent Collins, Managing Director BCW Manufacturing Group stated “I am really pleased that through the utilisation of a rigorous back to work policy it has allowed the BSI auditor to perform an on-site assessment as dictated by the standards. Other standards are allowing remote audits. This was mandated to be a physical audit”.

“The team who have been brought back from furlough, in line with customer schedules, did a very good job to achieve the success of all of the audit requirements, with all the new safe distance measures we have introduced in to the business.”
